About
Signatures you can prove — not just trust
BAScribe turns any PDF into a legally binding, multi-party e-signature workflow, then anchors the executed document on-chain so its integrity can be verified by anyone, forever — without trusting us.
Why we built it
Every e-signature platform asks you to trust its servers. If the vendor disappears, is breached, or simply changes a record, the proof goes with it. BAScribe was built on a different premise: the evidence should stand on its own, independent of the company that produced it.
When all parties have signed, we compute a cryptographic hash of the executed document and anchor it on the Polygon blockchain. That anchor is a permanent, tamper-evident timestamp: change a single byte of the file and the hash no longer matches. Verification needs only the file and a public blockchain — not BAScribe.
Legally binding by design
BAScribe signatures are electronic signatures under the EU eIDAS Regulation and the US ESIGN Act / UETA. Every signer verifies their email with a one-time code, records explicit intent and consent to sign electronically, and each step is written to an append-only audit trail — the evidentiary backbone that makes a signature defensible.
Electronic signatures are broadly recognised as legally binding, but specific formalities vary by document type and jurisdiction. For high-stakes instruments, confirm the required signature level with your legal advisor.
Who we are
